We’ve seen companies apply gold plating to smartphones in the past, but one company that stands out above the rest is Goldgenie. In just a span of 5 years (2010-2015), Nokia’s domination of smartphone market has dwindled to the point of almost oblivion. It shows how a dominant tech company can fall from grace so quickly in the face of better and more advanced competitors. So who overtook Nokia? Apple and Samsung of course. Force Touch can tell between a gentle tap and and a deep press, and simply lets you bring up additional controls in apps like messages, Music etc by pressing firmly on the gadget display. You can use Force Touch to search for an address in Maps and pause or end a workout. Analysts say it might be one of the next iPhones selling point.
